Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a new home warranty inspection cost?

Warranty inspections start at $350 for any size of home.

When should I book a warranty inspection?

Book it so the report is ready before your next Tarion form submits. For homes with possession on or after May 1, 2024, the Initial Form submits on day 41, the Mid-Year Form on day 183 and the Year-End Form on day 365.

Why inspect a brand-new home?

New homes can have defects in framing, grading, insulation, roofing and finishes. Items not reported before a warranty deadline can become harder to get fixed.

When do I get the report?

You get a digital report with photos and prioritized findings within 24 hours of the inspection.
